Services and history

Youth Action for Change was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate young leaders in Uganda who saw the urgent need to empower their peers to drive meaningful social transformation. Recognizing the challenges young people face—including unemployment, discrimination, limited access to opportunities, and the growing impact of climate change—we set out to create a platform that equips youth with the skills, confidence, and networks needed to shape their futures.

What started as a small initiative quickly grew into a nationwide movement, mobilizing youth to take action in climate justice, human rights, gender equality, civic engagement, and economic empowerment. Through grassroots programs, advocacy efforts, and mentorship, we have reached and inspired countless young people to stand up for their rights, engage in leadership, and drive innovative solutions in their communities.

Our Team
